Britcham Members & British Institutions working for Rio

The 2017 Petroleum Charity Golf raised R$15,720 for Associação Golfe Público de Japeri (Japeri Golf), a volunteer institution dedicated to assisting socially disadvantaged children and teenagers through the practice of golf and the support of their formal education. The R&A and the Rio de Janeiro Golf Federation (FGERJ) both support Japeri Golf.

The Charity Golf event was held on Friday 27th October at the beautiful and well-maintained Rio Olympic Golf Course. This was the 13thedition of the event, which traditionally is held on the Friday of the week of the Rio Oil & Gas Fair, one of the most important in the world.

The organizing committee includes BCS & Britcham members David Richardson, Transocean, and Carlos Peixoto, Draxos Consulting, together with José Carlos Ferreira, ABS, Bjorn Salen, Brazilship and Tairone Oliveira, AFGlobal.
