The energy sector has been at the center of environmental, economic and social discussions over the past few years. The global mission to reduce emissions of polluting gases into the atmosphere is directly linked to electricity consumption. In Brazil, work is underway to reform this segment of the industry so that the country leads, for example, the carbon market by 2030. In view of the needs, objectives and opportunities, the British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil (Britcham) arrives at the 20th edition of the International Energy Seminar.
