The British Chamber held a virtual meeting with the special secretary for Tax Reform at the Ministry of Finance, Bernard Appy, to discuss the 2024 tax agenda, focusing on the prospects for the regulation of Constitutional Amendment No. 132/2023. During the meeting, Britcham members explored the main aspects of the Amendment, which brought significant changes to the national tax system, especially with regard to consumption taxation. The occasion was opened by Fabio Caldas, President of the Administrative Council of Britcham, and was moderated by Luiz Guilherme Primos, leader of the Advocacy Consultative Commission (CCA), and Leonardo Martins, President of the Legal, Tax and Regulatory Committee.
