The British Chamber was delighted to invite its members to the first event in the ‘Britcham Meetings with Presidential Candidates’ series, an initiative designed to promote institutional dialogue between the business sector and the candidates for the Presidency of the Republic in 2026. The first meeting, held in São Paulo, was attended by Romeu Zema (Partido Novo) and provided a forum for discussing strategic issues concerning the country’s future. The event was opened by the president of Britcham Brasil, Carlos Levy, who also moderated the session alongside the vice-president of Britcham Brasil, José Diaz, and the president of Britcham São Paulo, Germana Cruz. This opportunity is being offered to the five candidates best placed in recent opinion polls. The meetings will be held in the order in which candidates accept the invitation and confirm their attendance, reinforcing the British Chamber’s neutrality by ensuring equal treatment for all presidential candidates.
