The British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil (Britcham) held a special cocktail party to close the 2024 activities in Rio de Janeiro. The event, organised by Britcham's Rio de Janeiro subsidiary, brought together associates and partners in a relaxed atmosphere, celebrating the important achievements and initiatives that marked the year. During the evening, the president of Britcham Rio de Janeiro, Nicholas Burridge, gave a speech highlighting the progress of the Chamber throughout the year and the initiatives that strengthened ties between Brazil and the United Kingdom. There was also a special speech by José Paulo, from the Brazilian Piper Band, who shared details about the fundraising campaign to take the band to the Edinburgh Festival.
