At an in-person event at the Brazilian British Centre on the morning of 6 June (Wednesday), the British Chamber of Commerce hosted a meeting on the theme ‘Strategic Dilemmas: why do some companies adapt and others stagnate?’ The debate featured experts Jorge Carneiro, professor of Strategy and International Business at FGV EAESP, Luis Perini, senior director at Máquinas e Soluções, and Umesh Mukhi, professor of Leadership and Organisational Behaviour at FGV EAESP. Among the main points discussed were the importance of balancing data and intuition in decision-making and the role of diversity of thought in driving innovation. The debate was moderated by Daniela Bauab, president of Britcham's Human Capital & Education Committee.
