On 20 August (Thursday), the British Chamber hosted a breakfast event in São Paulo at the offices of Machado Meyer Advogados, which featured a discussion on the Brazilian macroeconomic outlook. The event brought together Daniel Lavarda Sinigaglia, Head of Brazil Macroeconomics Research at HSBC, and Myriã Bast, Head of the Economics Department at Bradesco, financial market experts who presented their perspectives from a private sector viewpoint. The event was opened by the vice-president of Britcham São Paulo, Luiz Guilherme Primos, whilst the discussion was moderated by the co-presidents of the Economics & Finance Committee, Alan Lutfi and Jéssica de Alencar Araripe.
