On October 20, the British Chamber held an in-person event focused on the new BIST (Business, Innovation, Science and Trade) and the opportunities this restructuring could create for Brazilian businesses. The event featured the British Government's perspective, represented by Luke Durigan, Executive Director of Business and Trade in Brazil, and the business perspective, represented by Vitoria Nabas, Partner at Gunnercooke. The speakers explained how BIST promotes business, innovation, science and trade between the UK and the rest of the world. They also shared insights on internationalisation opportunities for companies and how to prepare for establishing operations in the UK. The meeting was moderated by Carlos Levy, President of Britcham Brazil, and fostered valuable exchanges among participants.
