The Brazilian Piper Pipe Band, supported by Britcham, has just returned from a remarkable tour of Scotland during the UK–Brazil “Year of Culture,” celebrating 200 years of diplomatic and cultural ties.
From enchanting Glasgow at Piping Live, to ten days of standing ovations at the Edinburgh International Festival, to performing at a real Highland ceilidh in Balquhidder, the boys proudly carried Brazil’s spirit to international stages. They even rounded off the trip cycling through London before returning home to São Gonçalo.
Their unique blend of Brazilian tunes on Scottish bagpipes has been hailed by both governments as a shining example of cultural fusion.
Now the band is seeking support to cover a deficit of R$15,000 in expenses. Partners and supporters, your contribution will help ensure that this inspiring project continues to flourish and represent Brazil abroad.
