The Magazine is distributed free of charge at Britcham events
The British Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Brazil – Britcham is honoured to present to its members and the business and government relations community Brazil-UK the Britain Brasil Magazine 2019/2020.
In this edition, which was launched in December 2019, the British Ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Vijay Rangarajan, comments on the UK’s advances in global aid for building a cleaner and brighter economic future, especially within Brazil-UK relationship.
Mr. Sérgio Clark, President of Britcham until March 2020, comments on the Chamber’s challenges, initiatives and advances during 2019, as well as the entity’s prospects for the near future, relying on innovative and value-added initiatives to members, aiming at their increasingly consistent engagement in the activities promoted by the Chamber.
In addition to the pleasant welcome of the British Chamber to its new members who joined in 2019, another section, also dedicated to members, highlights their main activities and achievements throughout the year.
The Presidents of the Sectoral Committees present the objectives and expectations for the groups in 2020 and coming years, which, through meetings, events and white papers production, provide an environment for networking and new businesses.
Among the activities promoted by Britcham in 2019, highlights to the soft launch of the new branches in the states of Paraná and Minas Gerais; the Britcham Personality of the Year Award given to Guilherme Benchimol (XP Investimentos); the end of the year’s commemorative dinner with the British Ambassador to Brazil, Mr. Vijay Rangarajan, when the recognition of
“Social Project of the Year 2019” was given to Cultura Inglesa for the inauguration of a totally free unit in the community of Paraisópolis in São Paulo; the continued promotion of meetings of the GBBC – Great British Business Club, as well as events for CEOs of large member companies and other events held by the Sectoral Committees with prominent authorities and speakers.
Also listed in this edition are the members of the British Chamber, classified by their products or services offered, in addition to the individual members.
